Councillors on the ruling Executive Committee of South Hams District Council have unanimously rejected a proposal by council officers and developers to install solar water heating panels on houses in the Southern Area development.

A series of  9 public workshops to provide an opportunity for local people to contribute towards and participate in the development of the Totnes & District Energy Descent Action Plan (EDAP) 2009 - 2030.

This is an exciting new project from the Building & Housing Group that aims to meet the need for affordable homes in a sustainable way. We are putting together a group to design and build affordable homes that are self sufficient for energy, water and waste and constructed with sustainable materials.
