Climate Camp Against Kingsnorth.

Energy company, e.on, are planning to build a massive new coal burning power station at Kingsnorth in Kent. If the government gives approval for this development it will produce as much CO2 as Ghana and skuttle any chances of reaching even the government's limited plans to cut carbon emissions and limit climate change. It could also give a disastrous green light for a whole new generation of coal fired power stations.

Heart and Soul Meetings and Events - all welcome!!

The Heart and Soul group organises regular meetings which are open to anyone who is interested. These are usually a mixture of business - information from TTT, reviewing recent H&S events, and planning new activities - and something experiential or a short talk or discussion on a Heart and Soul related theme.

Totnes Nuts Lead the Way for National Tree Week
Three-year old Izzy Grace’s smiles and giggles of delight as she planted her first hazel tree said it all. As she joined mum, dad, and nearly thirty other volunteers and young people in Bridgetown, everyone was excited about the initiative to turn Totnes into the Nut Capital of Britain.

Energy Descent Pathways project

TTT’s Energy Descent Pathways project has begun. Over the next 12 months, this project will develop an Energy Descent Action Plan (EDAP) for Totnes which explores the different likely routes or pathways we can take as we reduce our use and dependence on fossil fuels and prepare for the effects of climate change from 2009 - 2030.
