 Feedback:  Heart & Soul Organisers group - Have met twice since last large group meeting. Amanda presented a 'map' outlining all the different roles, interests and structures of heart & soul, as well as links to other aspects of TTT and connecting groups - which pulled together the sharing from the previous meeting and subsequent organisers meetings. Along with details of roles, functions, etc of heart and soul, the shared principals/qualities of the group were included: sharing, respect, deepening, silence, listening, experiencial, becoming the change, not knowing in face of uncertainty, creating conditions for healingeldership, rejoicing. New TTT website. Sophie and Ailsa have put together opening page of 'Heart & Soul' and further work is required as well as need to regularly update. Invitation put out for interested person(s) in maintaining Heart & Soul pages of new Website.  Events attended:  Fly or Fly evening - evening worked really well and energy was buzzing - stimulating conversation that continued days after the event. A sense people would appreciate other similar events. Home Groups - one group has folded. Other groups are continuing and looking into current issues such as 'reducing carbon footprint'. An ecology of making - talk by Toni Spencer - interesting event looking at substainable makers - such as carpentry. Consciousness Cafe - Jeremy Thres - Rites of passage - interesting evening focusing on a new society where there is space to listen and re-connect. Summer programme so far -  National Transition

Network Conference - Circencester April 11th - 13th. Sophie to present workshop with possible support of another person from another Transition Project.

21st may 2008 - Open public forum - to evaluate the TTT movement and it's impact and effectiveness. Heart and Soul to think about how they can support the evening. A two way process between TTT and public. 9th July 08 - Main speaker - Starhawk - giving a talk along lines of 'how we concieve a community'.16th July 08 - Main speaker - Andrew Harvey - giving a talk regarding 'spiritual activism' Summer solstice picnic/celebration - 21/06/08 Autumn period - focused attention on 'energy descent pathway'. TTT has funds to employ a 'Energy Descent Pathway Project Co-ordinator'. A process will be engaged by TTT focusing on different scenarios and exploring solutions - to a world using less energy - such as a response to flooding, to life without oil, etc.  Small Groups excercise:

 Ideas/interests from small group exercise: 
  • A focus of what is happening within processes - embodying/walking the talk.
  • Preparation for energy descent plan - with use of joanna macy's work, fishbowl discussions, chris johnstone's empowerment work.
  • Meeting with other TTT groups and witnessing their processes.
  • Developing skills in heart & soul group
  • Slowing down and nourishing ourselves
  • Smaller groups - looking into different processes, methods, etc for change
  • Sharing, supporting and deepening our practice.
  • Using fishbowl technique to support other TTT groups explore issues/conflicts - could be offered to other groups in community that are not TTT.
  • Purposeful work - day workshop looking at goal setting for transformation.
  • looking at role of visitors to TTT in Totnes.
  • Project group looking at different models of working related to psychology of change - with aim to put together a tool kit to use in wider community/to train other therapists, etc.
  • A need for nourishment.
  • Meditation space for TTT.
  • Use of Arnie Milldell work - dealing with conflict/difficult issues - to explore relevent topic.
  • Experiencial excercises eg; connecting with nature - joanna macy work.
  • Deepening ourselves - gaining a lightness of touch.
  • New ways of communication - and thinking
  • Preparation for 21st May- open forum.
  • Homegroup - fishbowl.
  • Power dynamics.
 Commitments made at meeting: Homegroups - set up fishbowl discussion for existing homegroups, the homegroup which folded and people interested in setting up/joining a home group.(Rosie, Ailsa, Carol, Hilary) Purposeful work - day workshop - looking at life purpose and connection to nature(Simon to explore possibility of facilitating day - venues, costs, etc) Meditation space - possibly once a month - with intention to support TTT movement. Time to meditate and speak from deeper part of self.(Angela & Jenny to meet and explore possibilities). Core Group - meet with and make aware of heart & soul resources/skills that different TTT groups can use.(Silvia & Michael) Develope Resource File(organisers group) New ways of thinking - model used and developed by Sue over past 20 years(Sue and Sophie to meet to discuss possibilities and ways of introduction to TTT) Announcements:  
  • 9th and 15th April - 7.30pm - 10pm - Jeremy Thres - Reconnecting to nature. Cost £10. Venue  - 2 Port House Totnes.  Book via Jeremy's email - ojll@btconnect.com 
  • 24th April - Consciousness Cafe - The Barrel house -  7.30pm for 8pm to 10pm Amoda Maa Jeevan - Can a spiritual revolution save the world? £4(flyer will be sent in due course). 
  • 26th April - Arnie Mindell in london   End of July Starhawk in Bristol at Transition Project  Date of next meeting -
  • Tuesday 6th May at 7.30pm at TTT Office - all welcome. 
A final note - a visitor from Tokyo joined our meeting - who shares an interest in transition projects. He commented 'on what a special place Totnes is and was highly impressed with TTT!
