This is an exciting new project from the Building & Housing Group that aims to meet the need for affordable homes in a sustainable way. We are putting together a group to design and build affordable homes that are self sufficient for energy, water and waste and constructed with sustainable materials.

We need people with expertise and, more importantly, enthusiasm, to be involved in any/all of these areas:

1. Planning

2. Funding / Grants

3. Community Land Trusts, Housing Co-ops, Co-Housing, Rural Affordable Housing

4. Community Liason, Publicity

5. Concept Design, Site Layout

6. Renewable Energy

7. Construction

8. Land Acquisition / Sales
