Information for TTT groups about EDAP public workshops
A series of public future scenario workshops are being organised to take place this November. Most of the themes relate to topics covered by TTT groups and projects and in that context please check the following list for the workshop(s) most relevant to you.
These workshops will be the first of a 2 part process to put real material into the EDAP, where we are opening up the process to put flesh on the framework of the plan developed to date. The November workshops will be the first stage, where we will be building assumptions using the scenarios process followed by visualising 2030. The 2nd stage will be a further series of workshops next January where we will be building on the visualisation and back-casting earlier along the timeline to develop the process by which we will be able to realise our ideas and meet our needs in 2030.
I’d really like to have (indeed I need), the support and involvement of all TTT people involved in projects relating to the issues being focussed on at the different workshops to both support the process in the workshop planning and on the day. With regard to being there at one or more of the November workshops,; I therefore hope that all parties involved in the TTT working groups and projects will be able to attend the workshop(s) covering the topic(s) relevant to your participation in TTT (plus of course any other interests , skills, expertise etc. you may have). This way all the ideas, projects activities etc which have been discussed, debated and dreamt up by all our collective creative thinkers and geniuses can be harnessed and fed into the EDAP.
Another request I have is for your help in spreading the word about these workshops to other relevant parties. Do you have colleagues, neighbours, friends other people you are aware of who would be interested in these workshops. Please do pass on the word about the workshops and encourage other people to attend. Its really important that we have as much open participation in these workshops if we are to develop not only a high quality EDAP but also one which a lot of people consider they have made a personal investment in and want to participate in rolling it out as we implement the EDAP.
Please let me know if you can come along and help out at any of these workshops.
